Fake Rab man arrested in Mymensingh
A fake Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) member was arrested while he was trying to extort money from a fax-phone shop at Jobber Ali Complex in the town on Thursday night.
A team of Rab-9 arrested Fahim Khan, son of Abdur Rahman of Gubargati village, Netrakona, after the shop owner, Bablu Dey, informed them at about 9:30pm.
Fahim, posing as a Rab member, demanded Tk 5,000 from Bablu.
