FBCCI postpones today's protest for 5 days

As the political situation is becoming stable by the move of the caretaker government, the federation leaders decided to observe further development of the political situation and then they will stage the demonstration.

Earlier, FBCCI on Sunday at its board meeting decided to observe a token demonstration programme in front of its Motijheel office, if the caretaker government fails to break the political deadlock by November 5.

Appreciating the recent move of the caretaker government, the business leaders urged the political parties to keep economic activities out of any political program.

"We will stage token demonstration with participation of country's all chambers and associations", Mohammad Ali, first vice-president of FBCCI, at a meeting yesterday.

Dewan Sultan Ahmed, vice-president of FBCCI, was also present at the meeting.
