Female executive of private co robbed of Tk 5 lakh
Armed muggers snatched Tk 5 lakh from a female executive of a private company at Dhanmondi in the city yesterday, leaving her injured.
Police and witnesses said Jasmine, an accounts officer of M Haider and Company, drew Tk 5 lakh from the Dhanmondi branch of Standard Chartered Bank at noon.
Four muggers riding two motorcycles stopped her car and snatched the money at gunpoint at about 12.45 pm when she was returning to her office at House No-93/A of Road no-5 in Dhanmondi with the money.
