FF Mohiuddin buried without state honour
Veteran journalist and freedom fighter Sheikh Mohiuddin was laid to rest in his family graveyard at Rajpasha Shekherhat village under Sadar upazila of Jhalakathi district yesterday morning without any state honour.
Family members, relatives, freedom fighters and elites of the area attended the funeral and expressed their agitation against the failure of local administration to give state honour at his burial as a brave freedom fighter.
Local administration said that they had nothing to do, as the name of Sheikh Mohiuddin was not enlisted in last gazette list of freedom fighters.
