Fire at 4-storey building in city
A fire ripped through a four-storey building at Aga Sadek Road in the old part of the city yesterday, damaging a large amount of foam rubber stored in the ground floor of the house.
An electrical short-circuit sparked off the fire that broke out on the ground floor at around 8:30am, which was used a storehouse of foam rubber.
Fire fighters brought the blaze under control after a struggle of two and a half hours.
