Fire breaks out at Shamser Jute Mill: Huge jute gutted
A huge quantity of jute that kept in five godowns was gutted in a devastating fire in Shamser Jute Mill at Kararchar area in Narsingdi yesterday.
Fire brigade sources said the fire was originated from a storehouse and engulfed the other godowns of the mill.
On information, five fire brigade units from Narsingdi, Bhairab, Demra and Kanchan rushed to the spot and made frantic efforts to extinguish the fire.
