Fishing trawler capsizes in Pirojpur: one missing
A fisherman remained missing and seven others were injured as a fishing trawler capsized after being hit by an oil tanker on Kacha river at Sanyasi in Zianagar, Pirojpur, early Thursday.
Enamul Haq, a survivor, told the police that seven injured fishermen managed to swim ashore, but another fisherman, Shafiqul Islam, 40, remained missing as of yesterday afternoon.
The police said a Mongla-bound oil tanker hit the fish-laden trawler at about 5:00am on Thursday. The trawler with eight fishermen on board sank instantly.

Receiving information, the police seized the oil tanker, but its crew managed to escape.
