Four arrested with heroin
Police arrested four people along with eight small packets of heroin from Mendibagh area of the town on Saturday.
The arrested are Shahidul Islam, 45, Tajul Islam, 22, Ismail, 35, and Nurul Islam, 28.
Acting on a tip-off, the police challenged the four while they were passing through the area in an auto-rickshaw. The packets of drug were recovered when the police searched them.
