Four injured in bomb blasts during clash

The gangs -- one led by Mahmud Hasan and the other by Rony -- clashed over domination in the area at about 9:30pm, local people said.

Equipped with sticks, rods and bombs, they chased each other during the clash and hurled bombs, injuring four people who were passing the area.

Of the injured, the boy, Rakib Ahmed Shuvo, was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital while three others -- Omar Faruque, Md Sumon and Abdul Kader -- received treatment at the Mitford Hospital.

Kotowali Police picked up one Russell from the scene after the clash.
