Fresh trial demanded
Rajshahi district and Rajshahi University unit Udichi Sangsad demanded fresh trial of Udichi bomb attack at Jessore at a rally yesterday.
Hundreds of cultural activists gathered at the rally held at Shaheb Bazaar zero point. The leaders said that government has been harbouring the terrorists and giving shelter to the killers. They also expressed their disappointment at the verdict of a Jessore court that acquitted all the 23 accused.
The leaders demanded security of all the cultural activists all over the country.

The rally was addressed by district Udichi President Alamgir Hossian, Central Udichi Member Prof Bidhan Chandra Das, drama artists Moloy Kumer Bhoumik and Sujid Kumer.
