Fugitive convict arrested
Police arrested a fugitive convict at Brahmanrajpur in Sadar upazila of Satkhira district on Thursday.
The arrestee was identified as Mahdev Sadhu, 40, son of Shyamapada Sadhu.
A special tribunal sentenced him to 10 years' imprisonment in a smuggling case in May 2000, the police said.
