Gang leader killed in gunfight
An alleged gang leader was killed and another injured as two rival gangs of hoodlums traded fire at Kamalapur in the city last night.
The gangs were locked in the gunfight over drug peddling, extortion and supremacy in the area.
Md Rana, the gang leader, and another criminal Rashed were rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital with bullet wounds where doctors declared Rana dead, police said.
