Garment worker stabbed to death
A young garment worker was stabbed to death by his colleague in Keraniganj early yesterday.
The victim was identified as Abul Hashem, 13, son of Ismail Fakir of Shibchar in Madaripur district.
Police said Azim, 19, killed his colleague at the showroom of their workplace, Osman Gani Garments, in Kaliganj Bazar area , over a previous dispute between them.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Azim stabbed Hashem in his throat and chest with scissors while Hashem was asleep. At about 2:00am, Azim dumped the body on the street of Kaliganj Bazar.
Receiving information, the police recovered the body and arrested Azim.
A case was filed with Keraniganj South Police Station. The body was sent to Mitford Hospital for autopsy.
