Gazipur court proceedings resume
All the proceedings of the court remained suspended for about 20 days as the lawyers boycotted the court protesting a suicide bomb attack by Islamist militants on the court premises.
The activities at the court are yet to get back its normal pace as many lawyers and justice seekers did not attend the court.
Ten people, including four lawyers, were killed and more than hundred people were wounded in two bomb attacks on November 29 and December 1 in Gazipur.
The four lawyers, who were killed in the bomb attacks are - Amzad Hossain, former general secretary of district Bar Association, AGP Anwarul Azam, Golam Faruk and Nurul Huda.
Seven lawyers, who were injured in the blasts, are receiving treatment at different hospitals in the capital.
