GB to honour five eminent doctors
Gono Bishwabidyalay will award gold medals to five eminent medical teachers of the country on July 14 at PHA auditorium, Savar on the occasion of its 8th founding anniversary, says a press release.
Former chief adviser of caretaker government and former chief justice Habibur Rahman will be the chief guest on the occasion.
Eminent artist Quayyum Chowdhury designed the gold medals.

The celebrated doctors are Prof Kazi Samsul Hoque, former Professor of Radiology, Dhaka Medical College, Prof Zohra Begum Kazi, former Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Dhaka Medical College, Prof SIMG Mannan, former Professor of Anatomy, Chittagong Medical College, Prof AK Bakhtiar Hossian, former Professor of Surgery, Dhaka Medical College, Prof Muhammed Samsu Zoha, former Principal of Pharmacology, Chittagong Medical College.
Former students and associates of the five eminent doctors will also be present at the function.
