Goods train derails in Mymensingh
Rail communication between Jagannathganj Ghat and Dewanganj in Jamalpur and Mymensingh was suspended for about three hours due to derailment of two compartments of a goods train at Minot College rail crossing in the district town.
According to sources two compartments of a goods train bound for Tarakandi in Jamalpur from Mymensingh were derailed due to faulty railway track disrupting rail communication from 9:00am to 12:00noon yesterday.
The communications resumed when a relief train from Mymensingh station recovered the compartments.
