'Govt has failed to ensure people's security'
Teachers of Dhaka University (DU) said the present BNP-Jamaat led coalition government has no moral right to remain in power as it virtually failed to ensure life and security of student-worker-farmer and mass people.
They said the coalition government has also failed to control price hike and preserve national resources and institutions including educational institutions and industries.
Dhaka University Teachers' Association (Duta) at an emergency meeting on Tuesday night discussed the matters. Chaired by Duta President Prof Sharif Ullah Bhuiyan, the meeting was conducted by General Secretary Prof Dr Mohammad Akhtaruzzaman.
