Govt’s success is only in corruption

Speaking as chief guest at a discussion-cum-iftar party in old part of the city, he said the government has failed to keep up the production at the existing field, let alone to explore new ones in its four-year tenure.

"Nowhere the government has showed progress except in corruption," Prof Chowhdury said, adding all the persons surrounded by the prime minister are corrupt.

Bikalpa Sramik Dhara, labour wing of BDB, organised the discussion at Mahuttuli.

The BDB president said if the administration fails the PM can't escape her responsibilities by expressing regret to the nation.

She is responsible for all things that have tarnished the image of the country, he added.

Presided over by M Aynul Haq, convernor of the city unit of Bikalpa Sramik Dhara, the discussion was also addressed by BDB Secretary General Major (Retd) Abdul Mannan and Joint Secretary General Dr Nurul Amin Bepari.
