Hasina leaves for Delhi Sept 28

During her five-day visit, she is expected to hold meetings with top Indian leaders, said Hasina's political secretary Saber Hossain Chowdhury.

Hasina, also Awami League (AL) president, will go to Azmir on Thursday to offer fateha at the mazar of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishtee, popularly known as Azmir Sharif.

She will return home via Kolkata on October 2.

Kazi Zafarullah MP and Saber Hossain Chowdhury will accompany her during the visit.

Meanwhile, Indian High Commissioner to Dhaka Veena Sikri paid a courtesy call on her yesterday.

Emerging from the hour-long meeting Veena Sikri told the waiting journalists, "As Hasina is going to visit Azmir Sharif I have paid a courtesy call."
