Hasina returns today
Awami League President Sheikh Hasina will return home today after a weeklong visit to the United States and the United Kingdom.
She will reach the capital at 5:45am, party sources said.
Hasina, also Leader of the Opposition in Parliament, left Dhaka on October 12 for better treatment of her ears impaired in the August 21, 2004 grenade attack on her rally.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Hasina will exchange greetings with people from all walks of life from 9:00am to 11:30am at her Dhanmondi party office.
She will also exchange Eid greetings with diplomats and heads of foreign missions in Bangladesh from 11:30am to 12:00noon on the day.
