Hasina in Tungipara
Awami League President Sheikh Hasina along with her family members arrived at Tungipara, their ancestral home, yesterday afternoon on a three-day personal visit.
On her arrival, Hasina, also Leader of the Opposition in Parliament, placed wreaths at the mazar of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and offered fateha.
Hasina's daughter Saima Wajed, son in-law Mashrur Hossain, younger sister Sheikh Rehana, Rehana's daughter and son, AL Industrial Affairs Secretary Lt Col (Retd) Faruq Khan MP, Jubo League Chairman Jahangir Kabir Nanak and Swechchhasebak League General Secretary Pankaj Devnath accompanied the opposition leader.
