HC grants bail to Munshiganj AL leader Mohiuddin
Tapash, nephew of Mohiuddin, was murdered on September 25 in a sequel to family feud, it was alleged.
A two-member division bench, headed by Justice MA Rashid, also issued rules upon the government to explain why the petitioners should not be granted regular bails.
The bails will continue until disposal of the rules, which are returnable in six weeks.
The court orders came upon petitions filed by Mohiuddin, also a former MP, and seven other accused against the denial of bails by the lower court in Tapash murder case.
Advocate Abdul Matin Khasru, a former law minister, appeared for the petitioners.
