HC issues rule on govt
The High Court on Monday issued a rule nisi asking the government to show cause why the amendment to BCS Recruitment Rules (Health Cadre) and the qualifications for the posts of professor and associate professor of biochemistry and ENT as advertised in a notification would not be declared unlawful.
A HC bench of Justice Nazrul Islam and Justice Zubaer Rahman Chowdhury also issued an injunction restraining the government from proceeding further with regard to appointment of professor and associate professor in biochemistry and ENT departments of medical colleges.
The order came following a writ petition filed by AFM Ruhul Haque and others.
