Housewife rescued from traffickers
BDR jawans rescued a young housewife while she was being trafficked to India through Dainur border here on Friday.
The victim was identified as Achhia Khatun, 26, wife of Sarforaj Ali of Mirpur in Dhaka.
Acting on a tip-off, paramilitary BDR chased the traffickers, including gang leader Zahurul Islam of Kamalpur village, when they were taking Achhia across the border.
