Huge polybags seized
A mobile court in a drive yesterday seized a huge quantity of polythene shopping bags at Karwan Bazar in the city.
The Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate and the Dhaka Metropolitan Police jointly conducted the drive with the assistance of the Environment Department.
The mobile court raided eight shops and realised Tk 10,100 in fine.
