'Implement RMG agreement'
National Garment Workers' Federation yesterday formed a human chain at Muktangan in the city to press their demand for immediate implementation of the June 22 bilateral agreement and announcement of new wages for all garment workers.
Carrying red flags, garment workers from different parts of the city participated in the human chain that began at 5:30pm.
Speaking on the occasion, Federation leaders alleged that the garment owners have resorted to dilly-dallying in implementing the agreement signed with the organisations of garment workers on June 22.
