Injured Jubo League leader dies in city
Jubo League sources said Sayeed was critically injured when attacked by some BNP cadres on his way home at Dopakandi union after attending a programme marking the `National Mourning Day' on August 15.
He was first admitted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, and then shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital as his condition deteriorated and later was taken to Ayesha Memorial Hospital.

In a joint statement, Jubo League Chairman Jahangir Kabir Nanak and General Secretary Mirza Azam have condemned the killing of Sayeed and demanded immediate arrest and trial of the killers.
