Int'l Red Cross Day today
Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BRCS) will observe the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Day today in Bangladesh as elsewhere in the world in a befitting manner.
This year's slogan of the day is "Universal assistance through volunteering" that calls for mobilising the whole society with a positive outlook as well as human values to render service to all distressed people at home and abroad.
BRCS chairman Advocate Harun Al Rashid, MP said this at a press conference at the Jatiya Press Club in the city yesterday.
