IO asked to exhume Nasreen's body

Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Jalal Ahmed passed the order following a petition on Wednesday by Arman Ali, IO Assistant Superintendent of Police of Criminal Investigation Department .

The court directed the IO to contact Additional District Magistrate of Gazipur and take steps to exhume the body.

Hit by her own car at the car park of her residence on April 24, Nasreen succumbed to her injuries the same day at the Combined Military Hospital.

Chehlum today
Chehlum of Nasreen Pervin Huq, country director of ActionAid, will be held at her mother's residence at House-51, Road 9/A, Dhanmondi R.A in the city at 2:00pm today, says a press release.

Friends, relatives, colleagues and admirers have been requested to attend the chehlum.
