Japan to continue support for development

During a meeting with Communications Minister Nazmul Huda at his office here, the Japanese ambassador also hoped that the existing bilateral relations between the two countries would further he strengthened in future.

They also discussed issues related to bilateral matters of mutual interests during the meeting, an official handout said.

Huda thanked the Japanese government for providing assistance for the development of communications sector.

"We will gratefully remember the Japan government forever for its help in building long bridges, including the Jumuna Multipurpose bridge," he said.

The communications minister also recalled the contribution of Japanese government for conducting feasibility study of Padma Bridge.

Economic Relation Officer of Japan embassy Masami Tamura was also present on the occasion.
