JB guard on three-day remand
Halim Sikdar, a security guard of Janata Bank's Chakbazar branch, was taken on a three-day remand yesterday on charge of killing Nasima Begum, a female sweeper of the bank.
Nasima was allegedly raped and killed by Halim in the early morning of Monday.
Afsaruddin, a relative of Nasima, filed a murder case accusing Halim with Lalbagh Police Station the same day.
