Journo Gofran passes away

Gofran was taken to the hospital after he complained of chest pain and he died there four hours after admission.

He left behind his wife, two sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.

BSS adds: Prime Minister Khaleda Zia expressed deep shock at the death of Gofran.

In a condolence message, she prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the members of the bereaved family.

Meanwhile, in a condolence message, Commonwealth Journalists Association, Bangladesh (CJAB) President Farid Hossain condoled the death of Gofran. He also prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members.

In another message, CJA Global President Hassan Shahriar also condoled the death.
