JS body finalises BSC (Amend) Bill
The 29th meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Shipping Ministry was held at the Sangsad Bhaban with Committee Chairman Golam Mohammad Siraj in the chair.
The meeting discussed the Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (Amendment) Bill, 2006 which was placed in parliament and then sent to the committee. Committee members scrutinised and finalised the bill.
The committee members also discussed the incident of explosions that took place in the Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC) ship Banglar Sourav.
