Jubo League blames Tarique for plundering crores of taka

"Tarique Rahman has plundered public money worth Tk 1,200 crore in the name of supplying poles to REB. He has smuggled out several thousand crores of taka abroad by abusing power," Jubo League Chairman Jahagir Kabir Nanak said.

He was addressing a meeting of Jubo League at Bangabandhu Avenue organised in protest against 'the threat of Tarique Rahman to resist Jubo League by JCD and Chhatra Shibir' cadres.

Jubo League General Secretary Mirza Azam, MP, blamed Tarique Rahman and Jubo Dal President Barkatullah Bulu for hiking the price of essentials through building syndicate.

Jubo League presidium member Dr Mizanur Rahman, joint secretaries Advocate Saidur Rahman Khan, Harun-ur Rashid, Mujibur Rahman Chowdhury and Mahbubur Rahman Hiron, organising secretaries - Ataur Rahman, Enayet Kabir Chanchal, Mainul Islam and ABM Amzad Hossainm also addressed the meeting.
