The meeting alleged that the VC was forced to resign while some unruly students went on a rampage at his residence.
The ruling party-backed teachers at a meeting under the banner of 'SUST Family' strongly condemned vandalism at the VC's house by unruly students. They will take out a mourning procession and hold a protest rally on the campus today.
In a separate meeting, the SUST Employees' association also condemned the role of police and demanded investigation into the incidents of police firing and vandalism.
