Khaleque denies allegations

Shahidul, an MP from Kushtia-2 constituency, made some allegations against Khaleque, also managing director of Pacific Group, during a press conference on Tuesday.

Khaleque, who aspires to be a candidate from the same constituency in the upcoming election, said that Shahidul was spreading false propaganda against him, being envious of his growing popularity in the area.

Local people and BNP activists have been going through unbearable suffering nowadays due to a reign of terror unleashed by the lawmaker, Khaleque said at a press conference at the National Press Club.

"Shahidul even issued threat to me when he came to know that I am an aspirant candidate from Kushtia-2 constituency," he added.
