LIFE distributes clothes among the physically challenged
LIFE, a human development organisation, distributed clothes and foods among the physically challenged people at its Lalmatia office in the city yesterday to mark the National Disabled Day, says a press release.
Speaking on the occasion, LIFE Chairman Kamrul Islam Sony called for ensuring access to mainstream education for children with disabilities.
Coordinator Aamirul Islam said, "With encouragement and opportunities, a physically challenged person can lead an independent life without being considered a burden on society."
