Lutfar to contest as JP candidate
Jatiya party yesterday nominated former lawmaker Lutfar Rahman Chowdhury to contest the upcoming Gaibandha-4 by-election.
The nomination was given at a Parliamentary Board meeting of the party at its Banani office with its chairman Hussain Muhammad Ershad presiding.
JP leaders Begum Rawshan Ershad, MP, Kazi Jafar Ahmed, ABM Ruhul Amin Howlader and Kazi Firoze Rashid were present at the meeting.
