M A Samad's anniversary of death observed
On the occasion of the first death anniversary of MA Samad, founder of Bangladesh General Insurance Co. (BGIC), a milad mahfil was held at 42 Dilkusha in the city on Wednesday, says a press release.
MA Samad was a pioneer in the field of insurance in the country.
BGIC Chairman Towhid Samad, Vice-Chairman Ragib Ali, Managing Director AK Azizul Huq Chaudhuri, directors and all members of staff attended the milad mahfil and prayed for the salvation of the departed soul.
