Different bilateral and socio-economic issues of both the nations figured prominently at the meeting.

Bhuiyan called upon the Malaysian government to recruit more Bangladeshi workers in Malaysia.

Terming Malaysia a close ally of Bangladesh, he hoped that the friendly relations between the two nations will further be strengthened during the tenure of the envoy in Bangladesh.
