Mashir Hossain passes away

He left behind his wife, three sons, and a host of admirers and friends to mourn his death.

Hiru was born in February 2, 1936, in Dhaka. He served the now defunct Dainik Bangla as a special correspondent from 1964 to 1998.

His namez-e-janaza was held on the Jatiya Press Club premises after Asr prayers.
