Medical equipment donated to cancer centre
Badrul Amin, an expatriate businessman of Bianibazar in Sylhet and now living in London, donated medical equipment worth Tk 7 lakh to Ahsania Mission Cancer Detection Centre and Hospital, Mirpur yesterday at a simple function at the hospital conference room, says a press release.
Dr MA Momin, acting director of the hospital, received the equipment. The equipment include Critikon Vital Signs Patient Monitor, Nebuliger, Laryngoscope, Oxygen Gauge, Vaporizer (Halothane) and Peak Flow Meter.
Dr Momin thanked him for the generous donation and said these equipment will be helpful for the hospital. Prof Nurul Islam, director of DAM and Kazi Farhad Alvi, Assistant Director (Marketing) of the hospital, were present on this occasion.
