Meeting on Gen Aurora today
Ekatturer Muktijoddha (Freedom Fighters of 1971) will hold a meeting today in observance of the first death anniversary of Lt. General Jagjit Singh Aurora, commander of Bangladesh-India joint forces during the liberation war.
The meeting will begin at the Liberation War Museum at 5:30pm, with Air Vice Marshal (Retd.) AK Khandaker Bir Uttam in the chair.
Indian High Commissioner Veena Sikri will be present as the guest of honour.
