Memorial plaque set up on grave of Birshreshta Matiur
A memorial plaque has been set up on the grave of Birshreshta Matiur Rahman at the Mirpur Martyred Intellectuals graveyard in the city.
The memorial plaque has been constructed under a project for setting up plaques on the graveyards of seven Birshreshta to highlight their contributions in the War of Liberation.
State Minister for Liberation War Affairs Prof M Rezaul Karim yesterday inaugurated the plaque, built at a cost of Tk 11.43 lakh.
