Mobile sets worth Tk 61 lakh seized at ZIA

Officials recovered 700 cell phone sets of different brands from three luggages of Bangladesh Airlines coming from New York via London and Dubai while another 723 sets were recovered after scanning two bags of a flight from Kolkata.

In another drive, the customs officials seized 99 mobile sets from a luggage coming from Singapore.

Departmental cases were filed in this connection and the seized mobile phone sets were sent to the customs warehouse.
