Moon Sighting body meets today
The National Moon Sighting Committee will meet at the Islamic Foundation auditorium in the city today to review the news of sighting the moon of Muharram month.
On the tenth of this lunar month, holy Ashura, commemorating the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hossain ® at Karbala, is observed.
The committee will take decision on the sighting of the moon of Muharram in Hijri 1427, said a handout yesterday.
