More bodies condemn killing of judges

Dhaka University Teachers' Association (Duta) and other organisations yesterday condemned the killing of two judges in a bomb attack in Jhalakathi.

The Duta leaders urged the government to uproot the militants from the country in order to ensure security of the general people at a meeting with President Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique in the chair.

Teachers will bring out a silent procession on November 19 from Aparajeyo Bangla to Central Shaheed Minar at 12:00noon demanding immediate arrest and trial of the culprits responsible for the bomb attack.

Others condemned the incident include Bangladesh National Women Lawyers Association, Bangladesh Human Rights Commission, World Peace and Human Rights Movement Bangladesh, Sammilito Nagorik Samaj, Sammilito Samajik Andolan, Progotishil Chhatra Jote, Jatir Janak Adarsha Parishad, Bangladesh Students' Union.
