Motor workshop worker murdered in city
A motor workshop worker was killed at Bijoypur in the city yesterday as an employee of a shop hit him in the head with an iron rod after an altercation over purchase of motor parts, police said.
Police picked up one suspect in this regard.
Noor Hossain, 20, a worker of a motor workshop at Matijheel area, succumbed to his injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

Noor had an altercation with an employee of the motor parts shop when he went to buy some motor parts for the workshop. At one stage of their altercation, the employee hit Noor with an iron rod in his head. The identity of the culprit could not be known immediately.
His father Nurul Islam said Noor went to the motor parts shop at Bijoynagar area in the morning to buy some parts for the motor workshop where he worked.
