Mutalib Akhand laid to rest
Ruling BNP lawmaker Abdul Mutalib Akhand was buried at his family graveyard at Jagaish in Gobindaganj of Gaibandha district yesterday.
Speaker Barrister Jamiruddin Sircar and Health Minister Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain placed wreaths on the coffin of Akhand to show their last respect to him.
Deputy Leader of the Opposition in Parliament Advocate Abdul Hamid also placed wreaths on behalf of Leader of the Opposition.
