Myanmar army team calls on army chief

General Moeen welcomed General Thura Shwe Mann and other members of the delegation in Bangladesh. They discussed matters of professional interest, an ISPR press release said.

Besides, possibility of enhancement of cooperation in military training between the two friendly countries was also discussed.

Thura Shwe Mann, a member of the State Peace and Development Council and Chief of General Staff of Myanmar Armed Forces, also called on Chief of the Air Staff Air Vice Marshal Fakhrul Azam and Principal Staff Officer (PSO) of the Armed Forces Division (AFD) Major General Mustafa Reza Noor at their offices.

The Myanmar delegation members also visited Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) and Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) at Mirpur Cantonment.

The guests were briefed about the training and academic activities of DSCSC and MIST and they visited various training facilities of both the institutes.

They showed keen interest in the training facilities of DSCSC and MIST.

Senior officers of Army Headquarters (AHQ) were also present on the occasion.
